Obama's Education to Inflation

Obama Thinks the lack of Education of the younger generation is the problem with our economy when there are thousands of educated people out of work....doesn't matter how much education you have if no one is hiring!

If we made the cost of importing higher than manufacturing it here, then maybe GM would still build cars on American soil! Maybe there would be enough jobs to go around so that the Government would have enough tax money to pay for all the government spending. Less jobs means less taxpayers and an increase of tax on those that are still paying tax.

Automotive Bankruptcy

If they are going to declare bankruptcy let them. No more bailouts. Let capitalism work and solve these business problems versus the current and last administration and congress approach of just supporting failures and prolonging the problem. Capitalism will bring us prosperity; our current path of socialism will only bring us devastation.

If "We the People" want to pay for a car, we will go to the guy selling one and buy it. Don't let the Government Spend us in to Socialism.

Government Impact on Auto Repair Industry and You

The US Government has had a huge impact on the automotive manufacturers over the years creating higher costs for not just the manufacturer but the consumer as well. Government regulated environmental controls that the manufacturers are forced to put on the cars they make and sell end up costing you more when you by it and when it needs repaired. The cost of maintenance and repairs goes up each time the Government imposes restrictions costing the consumer dearly. A typical EGR replacement on a vehicle is around $200.00 to $300.00. Air Conditioning Freon Changes has forces the manufacturer and the repair shops to purchase New Equipment that ends up costing thousands of dollars for them and the consumer alike. A Catalytic Converter on a car seems like a great idea for the planet but at what cost. Manufacturers are now forced to equip cars with tire pressure monitors because congress thinks "we the people" are to stupid to know when our tires are flat. How did we ever know the tire was flat before.....thanks congress, I didn't know I was that dumb. Your (NEW)car could have been purchased for almost $7000.00 less if it wasn't for Government mandated regulations. Hows the economy now??? Thanks for Nothin' Congress....

Cash for Clunkers, another US Government Scam?

Isn't it great that the US Government takes Tax-payers money and just hands it out like candy and acts like it is doing some good during harsh economic times. Lets see here, a foreign owned car company was able to receive up to $4500.00 per car that qualified for the Cash for Clunkers program. Did that $4500.00 of tax-payers money help the local economy when the money left this country to pay fro the import that was bought here...I think Not. Did the spending of the money help tax-payers at all, not unless you went out and bought a car that you might not even need. Did the U.S.Government Donate these cars to the Good-Will for those Tax-payers in need of a car, nope!! They trashed everyone of them for nothin'. Smart thinking there huh?

Why not give a tax credit for anyone that buys an American built Car... this would cost nothing up front and gives good incentive to spend your money where it helps the local economy.

If you do not pay Tax in the U.S. you should not receive a benefit from those that do. If you have not payed U.S. Tax for at least 10 years, you should not be able to vote either...

Anyone that can vote now that doesn't pay tax is always going to vote for things that cost money as it has little or no impact on them at all. Tax the Working Class and give to the Non-working Class.... Great incentive to quit working if you ask me.
