Bill Gates recently gave a Commencement speech at a High School

Bill Gates recently gave a Commencement speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politic...ally correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes; learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

If you agree, pass it on.
If you can read this - Thank a teacher!
If you are reading it in English - Thank a soldier!!

President Barack Obama urges tighter federal gun laws

Um, Isn't already illegal to kill someone?

So does this mean he wants to take guns away from the feds? or does it mean he is finally going to stop allowing guns to be imported to help save American jobs?  yep, you guessed it. He is supporting killing more American jobs as usual and leave guns in the hands of government employees.....

Gun Control Laws

Seriously, Its already illegal to kill someone. So if your worried about that, all we need is stiffer punishment as a deterrent. Guns don't kill people, Criminals do.  So why would the Government be so pushy when it comes to gun control? Simple, the only thing that stands between them and complete control of US is our ability to rise up once more. Take all the guns away from law abiding citizens and the only ones left with guns are the criminals. When if comes to having the freedom to own a gun, or the lack of freedom of not owning one. I Choose FREEDOM!

Republican or Democrat makes no difference

These days its the usual "Taste great, Less filling" when it comes to politics. The Government has us on one side of the bench or the other. This keeps us pointing the finger at each other and away from the real source of the problem.  The government as a whole is the real issue here. No matter who is elected as the official puppet, our Taxes will increase.

One of the biggest things to think about is how the younger generation is influenced. They look at their first pay check and see 33% goes to taxes not realizing that less than 100 years ago there was no tax and before their own children begin to work they will be paying much, much more in one way or another. If you take all the taxes on everything you do, you are already paying out more than 50% in taxes. Until these new workers have paid taxes for about 10 years, they tend to not realize just how much they are giving to the government to decide what to do with there own money.

Maybe its time we should take a look from an outside perspective? Capitalism and Freedom might be what we think we still have.  Let me leave you with this.

People today think they are free as long as they can still choose the color of car they drive to work.....

Obama vs. Romney

We all have are opinion of who should be the next President of the United States of America. So lets set those aside and think for a moment about what major concerns we should be thinking about when it comes to an election. Does my vote really count?  In the last election there was proof that Votes for Obama were indeed fabricated electronically but no re-vote?  Even if the majority of people vote for one side or the other they can still loose.... Should the president elect really need to line up a legal team to dispute the election?   Hold onto your seats cause this one is gonna get sticky.

Prediction. Romney wins. Obama challenges.

Under the U.S. tax code the non-profit arm of American Crossroads, known as Crossroads GPS, can raise and spend unlimited funds as a "social welfare" organization without disclosing its donors, as long as it advocates for positions on issues and does not directly support a candidate.

So this means the campaign money can come from any country or any person.  Meaning any one in the world with a pocket full of cash can influence our entire Nation. Just a more civil form of "King of the Jungle" I suppose.
