Obama against burning of Quran...Theres a supprise!

WASHINGTON- "If he's listening, I hope he understands that what he's proposing to do is completely contrary to our values as Americans," Obama said. "That this country has been built on the notion of freedom and religious tolerance."

Well if all Americans are supposed to be tolerant of each others religion, then why is Obama sticking his nose into Rev. Terry Jones of Florida's religion???

Said Obama: "Look, this is a recruitment bonanza for Al Qaida. You could have serious violence in places like Pakistan and Afghanistan." The president also said Jones' plan, if carried out, could serve as an incentive for terrorist-minded individuals "to blow themselves up" to kill others.

I think the Rev. is trying to use this as a recruiting tool for his religion. Thought the U>S> was supposed to be a free country.... maybe the U.S. should be the next country to be liberated by its own military....

Barak Husein Obama a Muslim Name?

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is a Christian who prays daily, a White House official said Thursday, trying to tamp down growing doubts about the president's religion. ~~Associated Press~~

GM posts Q2 net income of $1.3 billion, sales of $33.2 billion

WOW!! That is so impressive.... NOT! Obama motors was given a free pass on paying there long term and retired employees health care and other benefits. Easy for any company to show profits when the government allows them to breach their contractual agreement. Sure doesn't look like the government helped out "We the People" on this one does it???

And to beat all, the government used taxpayer money to do it....

she'd love to talk race with Obama

WASHINGTON – Former Agriculture Department official Shirley Sherrod said Thursday she wants to discuss racial issues with President Obama, who's "not someone who has experienced some of the things I've experienced in life."

But she also said on morning news shows she feels there is no need for Obama to apologize for her wretched week, which started with a conservative blogger posting controversial remarks she made, and led to her ouster as an Agriculture Department official and then, ultimately, apologies from both the White House and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.

The furor centered on a videotape on the Internet of Sherrod's remarks, recalling her reluctance 24 years ago to help a white farmer seeking government assistance. Blogger Andew Breitbart said he posted it to illustrate that racism exists in the NAACP, an argument he was using to counter allegations by the civil rights organization of racism in the tea party.

BP paying US Government to allow the oil to spill till August.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out you could un bolt the top cut piece of pipe. Take a piece of pipe fitted with an on/off valve and with the valve open, place it and bolt it down and then close the valve. Yes. It is that easy.

So why is the oil still flowing freely. As it turns out, the giant oil pocket is contaminated with natural gas. This cause a problem for BP. As it turns out, it is cheaper to just let it flow into the ocean and bleed off some of the natural gas pressure than it would have been to wait and add the bleed off tanks that are being built now.

The Largest concern should be, why has the US government been refusing help from other countries to contain this issue in a speedy effort could have ended the spill already. What does the Obama administration stand to gain with such a huge distraction and devastation.

What Are your thoughts on this matter?

Government still after your Freedom

Two lawmakers say it's time for prepaid cell phone users to identify themselves.

New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer (SHOO'-mur) and Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn (KOHR'-nihn) have introduced legislation requiring consumers to produce identification before buying such phones.

That's rattled some civil liberties groups, who say the bill may threaten privacy rights.

Prepaid phones can be a lifeline for people with limited incomes or poor credit.

But since they can be purchased anonymously, they're a favored tool of drug dealers and other criminals looking to cover their tracks.

Prepaid phones also have been linked to suspected terror activity.

Authorities say accused Times Square bomb plotter Faisal Shahzad (FY'-sul shah-ZAHD') used one to purchase a car in which to hide the bomb.

Obama is no longer President

One sunny day in January, 2013 an old man approached the White
House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting
on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and
said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Obama."
The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Obama is no
longer president and no longer resides here."
The old man said, "Okay", and walked away.
The following day, the same man approached the White House and
said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with
President Obama."
The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr.
Obama is no longer president and no longer resides here."
The man thanked him and, again, just walked away.
The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke
to the very same U.S. Marine, saying "I would like to go in and
meet with President Obama."
The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the
man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been
here asking to speak to Mr. Obama. I've told you already that
Mr. Obama is no longer the president and no longer resides here.
Don't you understand?"
The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I
just love hearing it."
The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you
tomorrow, Sir."
